To make clinicians more human, by closing the gap between what healthcare can be and what it is today.
Governance
The Lacuna entities are separately incorporated and separately governed. Lacuna Global Health Association is constituted under Articles 60 and following of the Swiss Civil Code, seated in the Canton of Geneva, and is bound by the collective signature of two Board members.
Its Board serves pro bono. Its Statutes require that all resources, income and surplus be applied exclusively to its not-for-profit purpose, that no assets ever return to or benefit its founders or members, and that any proceeds from licensing or transferring a technology be applied in full to that purpose. Board members abstain from decisions in which they have an interest. We publish our governance arrangements because the model only works if it is legible.
